Thousands of self-guided walking tours and travel articles in 1,500+ cities around the world are included in this handy app. No need to hop on a tour bus or join a tour group; now you can explore all the city attractions on your own, at your own pace, and at a cost that is only a fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided tour.

The app is designed to be used offline so No Data Plan or Internet is Needed, and No Roaming either.

The app is free to download. Afterwards, you can evaluate the walking tours - see the attractions and use the fully functional offline maps included in each of the city walk guides, all for free. A small payment – fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided group tour or tour bus tickets – is needed for accessing the walk route maps and activating turn-by-turn navigation functions.

* Option 3. For $18.99, you will get access to all travel content inside the app and covers over 1,500 cities worldwide.
* A 3-day Free Trial is provided under each subscription upgrade offer. Your account will not be charged anything as long as you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the Free Trial.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app gives you the option to turn off the GPS tracking in the background to prolong the battery life. It is also suggested that you bring with you an external battery.

Note: This app relies on GPS for its navigation functions. For best experience, it is recommended to use the app on iPhone and iPad cellular+WiFi models. It is not recommended to use the app on iPad WiFi-only models due to lack of built-in GPS support in these models.

GPSmyCity: Walks in 1K+ Cities app good for

I travel a lot and this app makes sightseeing very easy. It shows quickly the best things to do or buy. I really recommend it!
For Barcelona. I liked it, no need for internet offline mode. Good and easy maps to follow. Price is a little to much, but still cheaper than a tour guide. More maps would be better
Helped me a lot in Verona. It is very usefull. I will sure use on all my next trips.
The app is a tourist guide by itself, with great and in some situations quite original walking routes. The ability to use an high quality, offline map is fantastic, and offers a huge help. I have been using it in several trips abroad, in different cities. The only problem is that the complete form of each guide is paid, but anyway much cheaper than any imprinted tourist guide, and with a real time offline map. Strongly recommended.
Best travel app ever. I used it for over 100 cities and it let you see the best of each city if you plan it right. Great app - love it !!!!
This app is great especially if u r a first-time visitor. A must have!

Some bad moments

After this last upgrade its not working. I try to open a downloaded guide and then the app closes.
This app is realy nice and helpful, but i lost all my guides after the last upgrade!!!!!!!! It has some bug....
I downloaded this app to go travel in Italy and ended up buying a map. It was way to complicated to follow the instruction. Additionally was the app hard to deal with as you needed to push many buttons to get to the route instructions.
App shuts off when I try to open the downloaded city map (Hamburg)
I paid the extra 5 dollars to get a walking tour of Bruges. All it gave me was the points already mentioned plotted on a crappy low detail map of the city. A complete ripoff!
Every time you go to the app -- even if youve just flipped to another app or your phone has powered down -- you have to go through the tedious process of waiting for the app to launch, finding the map you want, opening it, and finding where you were on the map. Not practical to use until this is fixed.
