on iPad. when starting get the home page to flash and then quits. before this happened I thought it was a great app for the frequent traveler.

I have loved this app for last two trips and now Im here in Honolulu and needs it and it craps out on me! BAH!!!!

The guides will not down load!!

This app loads, displays an initial screen and then disappears. Running iOS 8.1 on ipad2. Needs a fix to be usable.

This is a total scam! The free version claims to have all these great features, and once you dl the app it immediately asks you to upgrade for $5 in order to access all the great features. This is total garbage.

The app is useless unless you buy the upgrades. Dont advertise as free if its not.

This app is Amazing!! It guided us through multiple Italian cites where we did not have phone/internet. We would have gotten so lost without this app. It is so easy to use and helped us find things to see when did not even know about. I hope they app more and more cities to their database.

The only reason this app did not get a five star rating is the fact that you cannot lock in the guide you are using. If you leave the app you have to open everything again from the start screen. Very irritating when you are walking a city and going in and out of museums and sites where you want to take pictures, etc. otherwise I loved it. Saw places in both the cities I visited that I never would have seen. The map and direction function (with the 3G) was priceless.

Of course you cant see your device on a sunny day as we experienced in Malmö. And if you want to tour in a different order or skip sites, no walking directions are provided. If you close the app to save battery you have to start over. GPS seems to use battery quickly.

App crashes. Try searching to load catalog, no catalog results received. Have removed and reloaded app multiple times as Help instructs. Does not work.

Must pay the fee per city you want to use.

This app uses GPS in the background and will run the battery out before the end of the day. There is no way to just have it use the GPS when I am using the app. It is not good to have the iPhone battery dead in a city you are not familiar with.

Battery drain on steroids!! Tried numerous addresses not listed sites and app couldnt find a one. Not at all user friendly. Save your money!!! Wish I had.

If you want to get max out of your travel, you like to plan and organize, and you want convenience of lots of info and reference electronically on your phone/tablet without tones of paper maps and guides THIS IS YOUR APP! Maps, photos, walking directions, attraction details all in one! I travel 2-4 major international pleasure trips every year, and i have used this app with great success for more than 6 cities so far since i first discovered this app. It offers a complex and rich interface that will reward you for your modest efforts to learn how to use it. I find it very intuitive so i got excited by all the customization options. My travel mate found it tricky to figure out first time he used it but quickly became a fan. Again rewarded richly for some slight effort to get oriented on the app HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!!

I downloaded this app to help me navigate around Minsk when I had some time by myself. Generally I found this app very helpful in getting me to interesting places and it provided some good useful info about the main sights. There was one problem--the street names in the app are Russian and the street signs are in Belarusaian. These names are different in Cyrillic which is a problem for a visitor. The reason I did not give a lower rating because of this issue is that Google maps has the same problem and I assume this app uses Google maps.

Just installed the app on my iPad but it crashes every time I download a guide.

Purchased full version. App does not work. Crashes constantly. There is no apparent way to activate tours. Resets to main screen every time it goes into background. In a word - hideous. Do not install, or much less purchase.

This app is perfect for getting a lazy tourist out of the hotel and exploring a city. Many times it will take a route that isnt direct and puts you near some scenic places. The descriptions are nice to have - small snippets. Sometimes we dont see what the site is pointing out. But overall a great app. Usability is sometimes clunky, but manageable. It was nice to see that while on travel and I had downloaded a city, a few days later there was an upgrade, so they keep on top of things!

I have used this app in over a dozen different travel destinations from Kuala Lumpur to Lucca to Copenhagen. I no longer travel without first looking to see if there is a city maps and walks edition for the city I am traveling to. The app provides so much flexibility to set your itinerary, allowing you to select only those things that you wish to see. The maps are accurate and you can even identify custom routes with many different points of interest - the app will establish the most efficient walking route based on the points of interest selected. There is also an ability to get points for the items you visit - a type of loyalty program. Try it once, you will love it.

Dear Sir/madam, I really like your app. My wife and I go to Rome three times a year and find it helpful. The only thing is it is not comprehensive enough. There are many sites not the included. I know Rome is huge, however City maps to go is much more comprehensive. They do not allow you to develop a "walk" however. More sites on map.
